Benefits of Membership
You are invited to become a member of the Webster City Chamber
of Commerce. When you invest in the Chamber, you invest in an organization
that brings people together to accomplishment goals that cannot
be accomplished independently.
Throughout the year all members and their guests are invited
to attend Chamber After Hours, Friday Coffees, Membership meetings,
and our Annual Dinner.
The Chamber assists new as well as growing or relocating
retail and commercial businesses. We are dedicated to ensuring area
businesses are strong and prosperous.
The Chamber provides you with various brochures, lists, and
directories. These are used to promote your business and also provide
you with important information. These include our monthly newsletter,
community organization lists, business lists, membership lists,
city and state maps, demographic and statistical information, tourism
information, new resident packets, business statistics, retail and
service directories, and many other publications.
The Chamber markets Webster City as a tourism destination
for tour groups, including bank clubs, leisure travelers, and motor
coach tour operators. The Chamber also coordinates special promotions
and events, which attract visitors to Webster City. Some of these
activities include: River Valley Country Jam, Home and Travel Show,
Raspberry Festival, and Christmas in Webster City.
Agriculture Committee
Promotes greater public awareness of agriculture's role and contribution
to our community. Each year the Agriculture Committee coordinates
Annual Corn and Soybean Yield Contest.
Ambassadors
Coordinates various community events and the Annual Meeting. Represents
the Chamber at ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and ground breakings.
Promotions/Retail Committee
Organize promotions to stimulate retail activity in Webster City.
